Power Electronics, a company producing inverters for solar energy, storage and data center markets, celebrated the groundbreaking of its future campus in Houston, Texas.

Located on more than 53 acres, the new campus is a significant expansion of Power Electronics’ manufacturing footprint in the United States. The project will include two buildings sized at approximately 150,000 and 700,000 sq ft, bringing together logistics, production, electronics manufacturing, R&D, training, corporate offices and other key functions within a single industrial campus.
Once fully operational, the Houston campus is expected to deliver up to 40 GW of annual production capacity and create over 400 new jobs in the area. This site is designed to become Power Electronics’ most automated inverter production factory to date.

Our 40 GW Houston Campus will help shape the future of energy and AI growth globally,” said David Salvo, CEO of Power Electronics.
The United States has become a key market in the company’s global strategy. For more than a decade, Power Electronics has increased its presence across the country, building local teams, operations and technical expertise to serve energy projects in the U.S.
With the addition of the Houston campus, Power Electronics will reach up to 105 GW of annual production capacity worldwide, combining its operations in the United States and Europe.
