Solar Servicing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Forbright Bank, has completed the transaction to acquire the loan servicing operations of financing platform Mosaic after it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June.
Through the transaction, Mosaic’s loan servicing operations are transitioning to Solar Servicing. The company plans to continue Mosaic’s loan operations as usual.
“Forbright’s deep bench of management talent and the hard work of the new team members from Mosaic enabled this complicated transaction to be executed to a high standard for the benefit of all servicing clients,” said John Delaney, executive chairman and founder of Forbright Bank.
Under the terms of the transaction, borrowers’ payment terms and schedules remain unchanged and there are plans in place to avoid disruptions in service. Mosaic’s various payment methods are active, and borrowers can continue to make payments as they have done prior to this announcement.
For loans that were partially funded as of the bankruptcy filing, a pipeline team has been hired to support system installers and loan owners as they work towards a resolution. Mosaic will complete the wind down of its remaining assets.
“We are thrilled to welcome new team members from Mosaic, and we look forward to building Solar Servicing into a powerful driver of innovation and customer success,” said Don Cole, CEO of Forbright Bank. “By combining our deep expertise with new capabilities, we are confident the business will deliver exceptional service and meaningful value to our customers and stakeholders.”

OK, so I have solar panels through Mosaic. I don’t know the money because mine are paid off, but who is going to service the panels if I have a problem. Crossing my fingers that I don’t but who do I call if I do. I wish I hadn’t paid them off
Has anyone been able to cancel their loan through mosaic now handled by solar services
NOT ONLY HAS MY SOLAR COMPANY THAT SIGNED ME WITH MOSIAC FILED BANKRUPTCY SO HAS MOSIAC. . These companies should be stopped from operating. Cancelling all their operations at this point should be allowed. It should be illegal for them to hold us hostage on systems that aren;t supported
by any means.
Unfair practice No one from Solar Titan Usa got back with us due to complaint of non functioning . Have been paying Mosaic for over a 2 years plus with no functioning Solar system
I’m wondering where I can get the actual site to look at my current balance and verify it is correct. BTW since Mosaic renigged on their debts why should we be expected to owner ours?
Any ETA on when loan transfers from seller to buyer will be allowed? We’ve been stuck in escrow since June 2025, waiting for approvals and updates, but we still have not received a clear timeline from Solar Servicing or Mosaic. Routine loan servicing continues, but transfers are still paused with no official ETA. Would appreciate any new info if available—this delay has left our sale in limbo.
The solar servicing LLC and the new pipeline team is not finding solutions to partially funded projects prior to the chapter 11 filing. Instead they now send me te a.e response stating that mosaic is under a court ordered stay and they are working through lender and court system approval for processing loan cancellations. And will contact me in in a few weeks when approval is granted by the courts. But in august22 2025 they sent me email stating upon mosaic receiving project cancellation documents from freedom forever mosaic will escalate loan cancellation and respond with review in 3 days, its been 3 weks
Same here. Very frustrating with the loan cancellation process. They push everything to freedom forever on my project and I still haven’t got mine cancelled.
