SnapNrack increases domestic manufacturing with new Texas factory

By Billy Ludt | October 29, 2026

Share

Solar mounting and racking manufacturer SnapNrack, a subsidiary of Sunrun, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 4 to celebrate the opening of its new facility in El Paso, Texas. The new operational site has onshored SnapNrack’s assembly and distribution operations from its former facility in Juarez, Mexico.

By bringing assembly and distribution directly into Texas, SnapNrack eliminates international customs friction and cross-border transfer delays. The El Paso facility leverages the I-10 and I-25 interstate corridors alongside the region’s “southern gateway” rail network to distribute products across the country.

Manufacturing and assembling racking solutions within the United States directly supports solar installers and project developers in meeting domestic content requirements.
