Seneca Solar, the energy solutions division of Seneca Holdings, announced a new partnership with Alternative Energy Development Group (AEDG), a developer of commercial- and industrial-scale clean energy projects. Together, the companies will collaborate on their Earth-healing work in service of Indigenous communities in the United States and around the world.

Seneca Solar, certified under the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NMSDC), is the energy solutions division of Seneca Holdings, an enterprise wholly owned by the Seneca Nation of Indians. Seneca Holdings businesses deliver over $250 million in projects annually. On a mission to profitably and equitably deliver innovative renewable energy solutions that heal the Earth, Seneca Solar delivers solutions such as onsite renewables, community solar, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and other innovative technologies.

Seneca Solar has established a Certified Partnership Program (CPP) that will enable the company to rapidly deploy solutions at scale around the world. Certified Partners share Seneca Solar’s vision and values, are committed to values-based collaboration, and provide products and/or services that align with the overall goal of healing the Earth.

“Seneca Solar is an extension of the Seneca Nation’s commitment to healing the Earth. To maximize the positive impact we can have on the environment and do the most good, we will need trusted partners that share our values and extend our capability to deploy solutions for our customers,” said Jeffrey Ellis, CEO of Seneca Holdings. “We are thrilled to formalize our partnership with AEDG, a values-aligned organization that shares our passion for collaboration and exceptional service. They are the perfect organization to be our first Certified Partner.”

Income from Seneca Solar projects directly supports the on-territory needs of the Seneca Nation of Indians, including education programs, cultural centers, medical facilities, childcare, broadband access, critical infrastructure and career development. In all of its business activities, Seneca Solar is committed to workforce and skills development for Indigenous communities as a foundational priority.
