ALLTEC announced its new ADPV Series of surge protection devices is now available. These devices are designed to protect DC photovoltaic and wind power systems against lighting and transient surges.

The ADPV Series fills the need for DC protection in the solar and wind industry to ensure solar installations are fault-tolerant. ALLTEC can inspect existing sites or survey plans for new installations and provide an engineering analysis that includes lightning protection, grounding equipment, and surge protection installed at inverter DC inputs and AC outputs as well as critical data circuits in switchgear rooms.

ALLTEC’s surge protection devices employ fast acting, high energy, thermally protected metal oxide varistors (MOV) in their suppression circuits. ADPV products are equipped with a visual status window to monitor their operation, and are easy to install with convenient DIN rail bases and replaceable suppression modules.
