Aerial intelligence provider Measure has agreed to service solar developer Invenergy’s portfolio of more than 900 MW of PV projects with drone inspection and data solutions.
With a solar portfolio of over 3 GW across 32 projects in operation, construction or under contract, Invenergy and its affiliated companies develop, own and operate large-scale renewable and other clean energy generation and storage facilities in the U.S. and abroad.
Measure uses drone intelligence to capture and process inspection data faster, safer, and more accurately, while reducing costs associated with solar inspections. In 2018, Measure inspected and processed data for a 328-MW solar farm, one of the largest solar farms in North America, in just 10 days. Solar has been a primary part of Measure’s portfolio since the company’s inception in 2014.
“We chose Measure due to their experience with large solar operations and their efficiency and professionalism on the job,” said Alex George, Senior Vice President, Asset Management and Operations, Invenergy. “We look forward to seeing how drone inspection data will help increase our solar energy output while reducing costs.”
“Invenergy has positioned themselves as leaders in the renewable energy field, and we are proud to help them achieve their goals by providing world-class drone inspection and data services,” said Brandon Torres Declet, CEO of Measure.
