The Solar Foundation has partnered with Carmen Yulín Cruz Soto, mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, on solar and battery storage installations through the Solar Saves Lives initiative to bolster Puerto Rico’s resilience. Now the mayor is coming to the mainland to speak at TSF’s annual Summer Solstice.
The Summer Solstice is a rooftop party that gathers leaders across clean energy, government, business and nonprofit organizations for an upscale cocktail hour and reception. The party starts at 6:00pm on Thursday, June 20 at 655 New York Avenue NW, Washington, DC. Tickets are $129.99 each and SPW readers get 15% off with the code SPWSolstice19. They can be purchased at this link.
Hors d’oeuvres and complimentary drinks are included. All tickets, sponsorships and donations support The Solar Foundation. A portion of proceeds will go toward Alguien Ayúdenos, a foundation supporting relief and recovery efforts for Puerto Ricans.
