Gardner Capital is pleased to announce the completion of Independence Power and Light Phase 2 (IPL2), the second phase of a partnership with Independence Power and Light to bring solar power to Missouri. MC Power Companies assisted with the construction of the 10.85-MWdc project. When combined with phase one, the city of Independence, Missouri, will receive 14.7 MW from the projects.
“We are delighted to continue achieving our mission of improving peoples’ lives through clean, affordable energy, especially in our home state of Missouri,” said Michael Gardner, CEO & President of Gardner Capital. “Community solar projects, like IPL1 and IPL2, allow us to do this in a way that also incorporates the desire of the energy users of this state to continue to focus on the production of clean, renewable and affordable energy – something that will drive value for many years to come and will act to provide a competitive advantage for Missouri companies.”
Gardner Capital celebrates with MC Power as well as the city of Independence, as it continues to increase its renewable energy production. The partnership of Gardner Capital and MC Power Companies, which has installed more than 40 MW of solar generation capacity in Missouri alone, will continue to expand its production capacity for renewable energy in Missouri.
