After more than a year hiatus, Solmetric has re-introduced the popular SunEye-210 shade measurement tool to the market. The SunEye is the de facto standard shade measurement tool for the solar industry. It was discontinued in 2015, but is now available for purchase again. Retail price is $2195.
The SunEye-210, now comes standard with a lifetime PV Designer license and GPS. Optional SunEye-210 accessories include: the Extension Platform for making measurements from the ground; hard case; and the Solmetric Certified Shade Training Class.

I own a company that does more accurate shading analysis, production estimate and complete design for solar panel installation companies! We’ll be happy to share our experience with you! Over the Top Aerial Imagery is our name and http://www.overthetopaerial.com is our domain.

Not sure if I would agree that the SunEye is the “de facto standard” for shading analysis anymore. Your still stuck driving to the site and climbing around on the roof. We found a company that can do a complete per-module shading analysis, production estimate and complete design. All for less than it costs us to send out a tech. and from our experience in the field, these remote layouts are more accurate than our layouts were.
Also, are they expecting installers to be buying their more time consuming product after pulling it from the market without warning? Curious.

What company is it? And how do know that the estimate is accurate unless you monitor the actual output over years to see?
