South Mountain Company

Founded in 1975, South Mountain Company is an employee-owned architecture, building, and renewable energy company on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Environmental stewardship and low-impact building are at the core of the business. South Mountain Company’s energy services division was created in 2005 to find the best opportunities for successful energy efficiency improvements and solar energy installations for residential, institutional and commercial clients on the Vineyard and nearby communities. South Mountain Company is about collaboration. It’s not about somebody, it’s about everybody — the company’s co-owners, employees, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and community. South Mountain is a 2017 B-Corp Best for the World, Best for the Environment, Best for Governance and Best for Workers Honoree.
