Fronius USA is headquartered in Portage, Indiana and is a leader in solar inverter technology in the United States. Fronius has a long tradition of technological innovation, founded in 1945 in Austria. In addition to technological innovation, the family-owned tradition of Fronius is highly value-driven and quality focused. Fronius USA has three divisions: Perfect Welding, Solar Energy and Perfect Charging and one goal which is to shift the limits of what is possible. Through innovation Fronius USA has become a resource for quality service, products and data communications to the growing solar industry. For more information, visit www.fronius-usa.com.

Fronius USA opened its doors to solar in the United States in 2002 in Brighton, MI and in 2013 moved to a 400,000 square foot facility in Portage, Indiana to better serve all its growing divisions and manufacturing needs. The facility houses Fronius USA’s over 100 employees and has recently installed a rooftop array. The large array not only serves the large facility’s energy demands, but assists in the company’s product research and development in the US.

Fronius USA is the leader the inverter industry, with a full product line that compliments the needs of all aspects of solar: from the small family home to the largest of commercial facility or solar farm. The Fronius SnapINverter line up features string inverters from 1.5 kW to 24 kW and the key differentiating design of the hinge mounting capability. This allows for these lightweight units to be mounted in less than fifteen minutes as well as several mounting options available.

Fronius USA recently developed a new technology in the industry that features the strength of the string inverter integrated with the module-level monitoring technology seen in many smart solar systems. The Fronius FE Inverter Line allows for design flexibility, shade mitigation and module-level monitoring on the ground and works seamlessly with optimizers or Tigo’s Tier 1 smart module manufacturers.

Fronius USA also offers free lifetime monitoring for its products, typically unseen from other inverter manufacturers. The inverters communicate wirelessly with Fronius’ Solar.web and other third party protocols, securing accurate data measuring and monitoring.
