We see your increasing kilowatt installation numbers and are so glad everyone is busier than ever meeting the call to build more renewable energy and build it fast. We hope you’ll take a moment to celebrate everything that has brought you to this moment.
Accelerated success means the U.S. solar industry is entering its consolidation era — you might notice our No. 1 contractor this year is securely in the top position due to the merging of a few companies. Still, there are 57 first-time listees on the 2023 Top Solar Contractors List, which shows the market is healthy and competitive. New tax credits will encourage even more entrants and plenty more customers.
Thirty-six companies featured on the list this year started business in 2009, the most popular year to start an installation company. If so many have ridden the solarcoaster of the last 14 years and are still growing in kilowatts and customer satisfaction, then this Solar+ Decade will be one to watch. We look forward to witnessing the country’s increasing success through the 2020s and beyond.
