Curious about the anticipated trends in solar energy infrastructure or the biggest challenges experienced at a solar job site? What about the trends and innovations related to the balance of system (BOS), which is one of the most significant parts of any reliable solar system?

Panduit certainly was. As a top provider of electrical BOS components for the solar industry, the company was interested in learning more about the experiences, challenges, and recommendations — directly from those who are working in the solar sector.

So, the company launched a recent survey, “Recommendations and challenges regarding balance-of- system components,” and received many insightful answers. The top results, including the industry’s current thoughts and ideas on BOS, are compiled in this report.

As one of the most costly and essential elements of a utility scale PV site, optimizing the components of the BOS is critical to long-term solar success. Find out how this is possible while learning about the solar industry’s typical experiences and expectations in one of the fastest-growing, power-generation sectors.
