Surplus product from bankrupt solar company DC Solar, which sold products for the mobile industry (solar powered lights and generators), are now up for auction, as conducted by GA Global Partners.
Online bidding will be via a live hybrid auction on June 12 and 13, 2019. Bidders must be pre-registered, and only online bids will be accepted. Physical inspections will be held on June 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 4901 Park Road in Benicia, California.
“The sheer quality and quantity of inventory makes this a unique buying opportunity for businesses and individuals,” said Adam Alexander, CEO of GA Global.
Solar products available include:
- 250-W and 275-W Talesun and ReneSolar solar panels — 16,000 panels available, most unopened
- SMA Sunny Island 6048 US-10 inverters — 2,000 inverters available
- Midnite Classic MPPT-250 controllers
- Midnite Solar combiner boxes
- Cables, switches, routers, connectors
EV charging stations, LED lights, generators and light towers are also available in the auction, as are company vehicles, warehouse equipment and other tools and hardware.
The court-ordered auction is being conducted in connection with the Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing of DC Solar. The assets available at auction represent a value of over $50 million at original cost.
