Solarman says
Yaskawa has been known for decades for their industrial motor controls. The VFDs Yaskawa produces are one of the best on the market. I would expect excellence from a Yaskawa product. Now can Yaskawa use their VFD prowess to create a smart solar PV inverter that uses the VFD technology and bring down the price of the inverter to small drive costs now available to the VFD marketplace? I imagine that this shutdown feature has been a part of the Yaskawa drive control software for many years now.
