D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI) announced an agreement with Heliolytics to implement its advanced aerial inspection and DC management techniques across the majority of DESRI’s portfolio of solar assets.
“We look forward to utilizing Heliolytics’ advanced technology to help us work to optimize solar asset DC health management,” said Bryan Martin, founder and CEO of DESRI. “Heliolytics is expected to provide efficient, actionable data that will enable us to detect DC performance issues and improve production.”
The deployment of Heliolytics’ advanced technology and artificial intelligence techniques will add to DESRI’s suite of tools to proactively seek to mitigate risk and optimize the performance of its portfolio of solar assets. Heliolytics provides aerial infrared inspections and analytics for PV systems, with over 18 GW serviced across more than 2,500 projects. The company’s advanced analytics utilize proprietary aircraft sensor systems and in-house artificial intelligence analysis software to detect performance faults and identify root causes.
