Powerhome Solar will install a solar system at Bank of America Stadium to help the Carolina Panthers go green to maximize energy efficiency, reduce energy costs, and minimize their carbon footprint.
Power Home Solar, headquartered in North Carolina, will assist the professional football franchise with sustainability goals and responsible energy practices as part of the organization’s green initiative. Power Home Solar will also help Panthers fans go green by offering easy, affordable clean energy solutions through promotions, giveaways, and education on solar power and sustainability this season.
“We are so proud to be partnering with the Panthers on this green initiative in our home state,“ said Jayson Waller, Co-Founder of Power Home Solar and Roofing. “Together, we’ll be building a movement that will not only help the organization address sustainability and environmental challenges for future generations of Panthers players and fans, it will encourage today’s fans to think about ways they can go green for the greater good of North Carolina and our planet.”
With this new partnership, the Panthers will join a short, but growing list of professional football franchise leaders utilizing solar energy to save money on costly electricity bills, reduce reliance on fossil fuels, and build healthier, more sustainable communities.
Details about the solar project were not disclosed.
