Axsus will be showcasing its Sol-X Tracker at Solar Power International (SPI) on September 24-27, 2018. A horizontal table-based single-axis tracker, Sol-X is adaptable and compatible with various module and foundation solutions. The innovative system removes the standard torque tube and uses roll formed sections to better handle bending loads, as well as reduces steel to lower hardware and installation costs.
“Our Sol-X Tracker was designed and developed with the structural advantages of a fixed-tilt racking system, while considering dynamics, system flexibility and reducing cost,” says Jud Whiteside, Senior Global Director at Axsus. “We have now deployed several projects in North America and are in the process of delivering a 20 MW site for a global developer. We are excited to gain more momentum as more customers are seeing the long term reliability and cost advantages of the Sol-X system.”
At SPI booth No. 238, Axsus will be demonstrating the Sol-X Tracker’s compatibility with crystalline, bifacial and First Solar modules, as well as with driven piles, round posts and concrete ballasts.
