Coronal Energy announced plans for the construction of the Rankin Solar Center in Florence County, South Carolina. The new development is projected to bring approximately $15 million of capital investment.
The Rankin Solar Center will generate 10 MW and is expected to come online in the fourth quarter of 2019.
“The Rankin Solar Center is a special one for Coronal Energy,” said Coronal Energy VP of development Russ Edwards. “It marks Coronal’s first solar project in South Carolina and represents the culmination of a partnership with Florence County that began in 2014. We are incredibly proud of our association with Florence County and our shared participation in leading South Carolina’s energy toward a bright, new future together.”
