In its latest newsletter, NABCEP announced that due to overwhelming demand, it has extended the dates that it will be offering the PV Installation Professional (PVIP) exam via computer-based testing. The final date the exam will be available was moved to February 8th to accommodate all of the interested applicants.

NABCEP’s partnership with Castle Worldwide will enable solar professionals to take the PV Installation Professional exam at one of nearly 600 exam sites in the US & Canada. A full list can be seen here.

NABCEP has also partnered with EnergySage to launch one of the most comprehensive business climate surveys for solar installation professionals in the United States. All individuals that take this survey will receive an early copy of the anonymized results.

Finally, NABCEP also announced that the early bird deadline for its Continuing Education conference is January 31. Registrants can save up to $125 by registering by the deadline. The conference will take place March 19-22, 2018 in Niagra Falls, New York.

NABCEP said its CE Conference is the ideal opportunity for NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professionals and PV Technical Sales Professionals to obtain all of the continuing education credits needed for recertification (18 hours every three years). Non-certified professionals can earn up to 18 hours toward certification eligibility.
