JLM Energy’s Simple Quoting and Design tool, or SQUAD
JLM calls its new software “a straightforward way for solar dealers to provide residential quotes on solar plus JLM’s MicroStorage product Phazr.” The software is able to calculate the ideal amount of solar+storage for a customer based on lifestyle.

Yaskawa Solectria’s SLX line of American-made inverters
The SLX 1000 inverters are offered in 60- and 65-kW power levels and the SLX 1500 inverters are offered in 125- and 166-kW power levels. They offer wireless HMI and connectivity, and include fused or unfused input options as well as PV connectors.

Aurora Solar’s SmartRoof monitoring tool
SmartRoof is a 3D modeling tool for residential and commercial solar project sites. Aurora says “SmartRoof intelligently infers the internal structure of a roof after a few clicks, reducing solar design time and difficulty significantly.”

SolarEdge’s new residential inverters
SolarEdge’s new high-power inverter features HD-Wave technology. SolarEdge will also showcase its inverter-integrated EV Charger with HD-Wave technology, which reduces installation costs and is integrated in the SolarEdge monitoring platform.

EnSync Energy and DCfusion’s solar-powered microgrid
DCfusion will engineer the solar-powered microgrid, while EnSync Energy will provide the command and control center. The microgrid is composed of an on-site utility power source, energy storage and a live PV array located in the Convention Center parking lot. The microgrid will power the Smart Energy Microgrid Marketplace area at SPI.
