If you’ll be attending Intersolar North America this week, we hope we’ll get a chance to chat! Solar Power World will be headquartered at Booth No. 8940, so be sure to stop by and say hey.
This is the ninth year of the Intersolar North America exhibition and conference in San Francisco, and we’re excited to get back. Last year more than 18,000 visitors participated and visited 554 exhibitors and attended 39 sessions and 23 workshops.
Besides our booth or within the exhibit hall, where else can you find Solar Power World?
Pick up a Solar Power World magazine at the publication bins
We hope you’ll help yourself to a recent Solar Power World issue from the publication bins near the entrance to the exhibit hall floors. We’ll have a great issue on stands featuring floating solar, bees and Tron: Legacy fun facts, so we have a little something for everyone.
Join us and 2,000 of your closest solar friends at Summerfest
Solar Power World staff will be at Summerfest on Tuesday. This year’s event is at AT&T Park, and we’ll be watching the MLB All-Star Game on the jumbotron! There will also be a batting cage, baseball trading card photo booths and lots of good food and drink. Hope to see your baseball skills in action!
Rock out at Solar Battle of the Bands
We’re excited to again sponsor the Solar Battle of the Bands event on Wednesday, July 12. This year’s line-up includes returning bands, “PV Wonder” from Tesla, Quick Mount PV’s “Northerner & The Rafters,” and “Fronicators” from Fronius USA. And, Luminalt brings the “The Rapid Shutdowns” to the musical competition this year, hosted by CALSEIA.
Get back to the classroom
One of the best parts about Intersolar (besides the fun happy hours and events, of course) is getting the chance to learn more about our ever-evolving industry. We’ll be covering education sessions on energy storage, net metering, community solar and, yes, powering greenhouses for marijuana.
The Solar Power World crew is always around and available to talk, so leave us some comments or chat with us on Facebook or Twitter, and hopefully we’ll see you sometime over the next few days!

Kelly, hello, do you know of any jumbotron message boards, that are 100% solar powered? if so, can you point me towards a vendor I can talk to? My customer asked if any are made.
Sincerely,
Richard
Kelly Pickerel says
Sorry, Richard. We’re unaware of any solar-powered jumbotrons.
