Floating solar
Siting solar on water may be a good option for areas with limited land and ample unusable waterways. Floating solar has been gaining popularity in Asia and Europe, and is now catching on in the U.S., such as in Florida and New Jersey. “Flotovoltaics” may have some advantages over ground-mounted arrays, such as additional reflectivity and reduced evaporation from the water surface.
