Cal Morton, Sales and Marketing Executive, Texas Solar Outfitters

In this edition of the Contractors Corner podcast series, Cal Morton, sales and marketing executive at Texas Solar Outfitters (a 2014 Solar Power World Top 400 Contractor), discusses how the company got its start, what has led to its success and the growing solar market in Houston.

“One of the things I like about this industry, especially in this growth state and our unique place in the market here in Houston, is that we’re very fortunate to have a lot of people who are interested in what we do,” says Morton, who previously worked as a stock broker. “I enjoy being busy. And that keeps your mind active and makes you feel good about your day.”
