The HDPV Alliance formed in 2012 wish a mission of lowering solar project costs and increasing project performance. The group of various component manufacturers found a formula to do so by setting standards to allow their components to work more closely, optimizing system design and deployment.
Solar Power World Managing Editor Kathie Zipp checked in with the HDPV Alliance at the recent Intersolar NA 2014 show in San Francisco. Representatives had much to talk about as they reported how membership has grown, Bonfiglioli’s HDPV-compliant inverter launch and how HDPV innovation is enabling developers to source a 2,000-V system using 1,000-V components.
Listen in to hear the full interview with the following HDPV Alliance representatives:
David Devir, director of product management, KACO New Energy
Mark Kanjorski, director of marketing, Ampt
Robert Lenke product manager photovoltaics solutions, Bonfiglioli
Stephen Shirey; vice president, North America, LTi REEnergy
