Solar Power World is so proud of its finance columnist partners — especially after seeing that they just developed a funding structure to support a large portfolio of distributed generation (DG) assets for Capital Dynamics, a global asset manager.
Reznick Capital Markets Securities (RCMS) was responsible for financial advisory and structuring, while accounting and tax advisory firm CohnReznick LLP provided financial and tax advisory services. An undisclosed large financial institutional investor acted as the tax equity partner; the financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
The portfolio of distributed generation solar assets is located across nine locations in California and four locations in Massachusetts. The portfolio represents one of the largest deals of its type — nearly 40 MW of distributed generation with multiple off-takers including utilities, schools and municipalities.
In case you were unaware, RCMS provides the magazine’s financing columns through its president Rob Sternthal and its director Conor McKenna. It’s clear from their recent deals they are valuable members of the solar financing community, and we’re proud to have them on the team.
