BlueChip Energy, aka Advanced Solar Photonics, is a solar panel manufacturing plant and solar farm located in Lake Mary, Florida. And you can buy it. According to the Orlando Business Journal, BlueChip Energy and its related companies must dissolve. The state of Florida ordered the business into the hands of a law-firm for liquidation.
An auction is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Blue Chip’s plant in Lake Mary. The major assets include solar power related production equipment estimated at $12 million, an 8,000-panel solar farm with an estimated value of $7 million located on the roof of its plant at 400 Rinehart Road in Lake Mary and real property planned for a new massive solar farm in middle Florida.

It’s amazing that Demitri Nikitin still is operating as a CEO/President/Board Member. I have never seen a person take so many companies into bankruptcy (Laser Photonics, Solar Photonics, now Blue Chip Energy……Plus the one in California prior to opening Laser Photonics) Shame on Federal, State, County, and Local government, let alone the banks and institutions that lent this man money. Next time do your research before you lend out money. He stiffed so many employees and then took it to another level!

Do you know that he is back again to the Lake Mary facility as the CEO of Laser Photonics ?? can you believe that he is back to run the business again ?!

Ah yes, but just remember the panels on their rooftop solar farm are the exact one’s that have been recalled. If you purchase this “solar farm” you will NOT be able to connect to the grid unless you replace every last faulty one.
