One of the major decisions solar companies must make as they design new products is: how will this be manufactured? At Intersolar North America 2012 in San Francisco, I chatted with Sanmina-SCI Corporation who said it can help. Sanmina-SCI is a manufacturing solutions company that makes complex and innovative optical, electronic and mechanical products.

The companies partnered to leverage their respective expertise in solar thermal energy solutions, technology, component design and manufacturing to offer industry-leading cost and value for utility-scale power plants.

Sanmina-SCI has been providing design and manufacturing services for the global renewable energy market for over five years. In the last 19 months, Sanmina-SCI has entered into agreements with KACO, Santerno, Satcon, SPARQ and Emerson in addition to eSolar to bring commercial and consumer solar products to market.
