Carlisle school district: one of PA’s largest solar arrays

The Carlisle project featured Sharp's 115-W framed thin film panels. The Carlisle Area School District today recently unveiled a 1.2-MW solar power array that will provide education as well as clean renewable energy. $9.5 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding gives eight large-scale solar projects in Pennsylvania funding that will create jobs while generating clean energy.
