Vote for the 2013 Solar Leadership AwardsLeaders are said to exhibit vision and values, knowledge and skills, commitment to the team and openness to improvement. The list of praiseworthy qualities continues from there. It’s no surprise, then, that many companies are quick to name themselves leaders. But the time has come to ask, “Says who?”
We believe passionate, successful solar companies deserve recognition for their efforts, but that recognition should come from peers: engineers, developers, technicians and others who understand the challenges and use the products daily. After all, these are the people who inspire and compel solutions to seemingly intractable problems – solutions that make an average company a leader.
