Inc. magazine ranked Clean Solar, a residential solar panel installer, in the Top 10 for all energy companies in California and the only energy company in the San Jose-metro area to make the 2014 list. Clean Solar also ranked #1977 overall on the annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs.
One of the fastest-growing private companies is another validation of Clean Solar’s commitment to both their employees and their clients. As an Inc. 5000 honoree, Clean Solar now shares a pedigree with Intuit, Microsoft, Oracle, and other notable alumni. This honor was preceded by Clean Solar recently being awarded both one of the “Bay Area Top Workplaces” and “Best in Silicon Valley.”
“Solar is an incredible growth industry and we’re thrilled to be one of its fastest-growing companies,” says Clean Solar CEO, Randy Zechman. “Clean Solar attributes this record growth to our customer service and quality standards, which places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. We are undoubtedly the highest-rated solar installer in California.”
The Inc. rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over the three-year period of 2010 to 2013 and revenue in 2010 must have been at least $100,000 with revenue of at least $2 million in 2013. Clean Solar is reporting revenue growth of 206%. The company, however, has reported record growth across the board including: number of rooftop installations, total annual kW installed, size of workforce, and amount of charitable donations.
