Solis Partners, a commercial solar energy provider, completed the installation of a roof-mounted solar photovoltaic system for Bristol-Myers Squibb, a premier biopharmaceutical company based in New York that discovers, develops and delivers innovative medicines for treating serious diseases and is a recognized leader in environmental stewardship.
The 777.14-kilowatt system consists of 3,172 panels that span the entirety of the 106,500-square-foot parking structure at the company’s campus in Hopewell Township, N.J.
In the first year of operation, the system is expected to produce approximately 965,000 kilowatt-hours of clean energy to the Bristol-Myers Squibb campus. Over the life of the system, this will equate to the reduction of more than 9,800 metric tons of CO2 gas emissions – roughly equivalent to the impact of removing 2,050 cars from the roads.
