Signal Energy (one of Solar Power World’s Top 100 Contractors) has won its biggest solar project, according to an article by Mike Pare on Times Free Press. Chief Executive Ben Fischer says Signal Energy recently won a contract to build a 311-acre solar farm in Nevada.
Signal Energy is a subsidiary of Chattanooga-based construction company EMJ Corp. Signal designs and constructs utility-scale renewable energy projects, completing more than 40 solar and wind power jobs so far. It was founded in 2005, and now did more than $100 million in business in 2012, Fischer told the Times Free Press.
