    The Problem is not where the amount we spend on subsidies goes. It is the subsidies! The Government has no right to be doing it! It never was there job to decide what business should or should not survive it our free market!

    So what are you saying we should decrease DEFENSE SPENDING to increase renewable spending?? FRANK ANDORKA IS JUST AN IDIOT DORK!!! RENEWABLE ENERGY SHOULD NOT BE SUBSIDIZED AT ALL!! WHAT AN IDIOT!!!

      So, is it your position that it is alright to subsidize Big Oil, but not renewable energy? Doesn’t that make you the idiot dork? Right now, we spend more on defense spending than 26 of our closest allies. In fact we spend more than 25 of them combined. Recent past Defense Sec. Bob Gates who served under George Bush and Obama, said there was too much waste within the defense Dept and he made recommendations for major cuts!!! The GOP would not listen of course. For some reason, Romney’s uncontrollable mouth is rattling sabers like war is the answer in Libya, Iran, Syria, etc. Of course, war and the taxpayer money spent on contracts makes many of the wealthy, even wealthier. Wonder why people don’t listen to all the facts? We keep electing the same GOP obstructionists to Congress, with it’s 7% approval rating, so who are the dorks?
