SolarReserve, a U.S.-based utility solar developer, has received a $737 million Department of Energy loan to build the 110-MW Crescent Dunes SolarEnergy Project currently under construction in Tonopah, Nevada. When complete, the project will power 75,000 homes – day or night.
The company has created an infographic that helps illustrate just what this loan translates into – in terms of jobs, energy, capital costs, and emissions. Pretty cool. Check it out!
