Sollega says its InstaRack ballasted solar racking system makes flat-roof solar installations faster and easier. The system installs quickly and easily and has the least number of parts of all racking systems currently on the market, according to the manufacturer. The system is made from high-density polyethylene with a built-in UV inhibitor, and can withstand years of exposure in the harshest environments. The InstaRack is available in tilt angles of 10° and 15° and compatible with all solar modules 30 to 44-in width.
In an effort to constantly improve the system, Sollega has made updates. For instance, the system now works with one bolt size of 5/16 in. by 7/8 in. for assembly. Two of these bolts are pre-installed on top of the system to make attaching the upper strut seamless. In addition, three channel nuts are pre-inserted to simplify attachment of the lower strut and the north-south connection. All connections are performed top-down and easily accessible for use of power tools. Sollega also simplified the integrated grounding with the use of a new bonding jumper. The entire array is now grounded through the strut rail and Wiley Weebs at each module. This new feature greatly reduces grounding hardware and installation time.
Sollege will be at Intersolar 2012 in booth #9238
