Free Hot Water with this solar thermal collector
While at Solar Power International last month I had the chance to stop by and speak with Free Hot Water, which offers a variety of solar thermal products including their solar thermal collector.
The company says their FHW 7275 is designed for residential hot water space heating, as well as pools and large commercial applications. An absorbent coating and thermal insulation ensure maximum heat transfer in the aesthetically pleasing collector. Furthermore, the company says other features include:
-An intelligent design of deep drawn aluminum tray
-Silicon-free sealing
-Proprietary flow design allows to connect up to twelve collectors with very low pressure drop
-All copper and aluminum construction
-Automated ultrasonic welding
-Tempered low iron glass with 100% fit to the all aluminum frame

-Installation friendly mounting system for tile or shingle roofs
