Renewable energy consultant recognized for supporting NY initiatives

aws truepowerRenewable energy consulting and information services company AWS Truepower, LLC was recently presented with the 2011 Outstanding Industry Leader Award by the Alliance for Clean Energy New York.

The Sustainable Energy Leadership Awards are presented annually to entities and/or individuals that have made an outstanding contribution towards helping New York achieve its sustainability goals and had a significant positive impact on the clean energy and energy efficiency industry as a whole.

“As a founding member of ACE NY and strong supporter of the clean energy industry, I am honored to receive this award on behalf of our company,” stated Bruce Bailey, President and CEO, AWS Truepower. “Over the past three decades it has been our mission to enable the growth of wind and solar power in New York and throughout the world with proven science and technology. New York is a prime example of how sound policy and legislative support are essential to the success of the renewable energy industry.”

“AWS Truepower has helped renewable power growth in New York by facilitating successful project development and planning, grid integration, community education, and the establishment of training and incentive programs,” stated Carol E. Murphy, Executive Director, ACE NY.

Also, at the Solar Power International conference in Dallas earlier in October AWS Truepower discussed their solutions for the solar industry. They include resource assessment, energy assessment, independent engineering/due diligence, forecasting and grid integration, and performance assessment.

    That’s awesome. The more renewable energy in New York, the happier I am. It’s great that New York renewable energy allows you to create clean natural energy while generating absolutely no pollution.
