Solar panels survive hurricane Irene

snake traySolar has survived what many houses and cables could not. Snake Tray reports the company’s rooftop solar array with Solar Snake Tray Cable Trays and Racks sustained no damage and is fully operational even after experiencing Irene’s heavy rain, winds, and gusts clocked at 91 miles per hour. The entire solar system is safe and secure and producing energy to run our factory and is feeding the grid on Long Island.

The company says the Snake Tray is also beneficial because it eliminates cutting completely. A hand bendable design allows installers to create turns in 10 seconds rather than 15 minutes through cutting. Also, built-in mounting hardware saves installation costs over other cable tray systems.
