Map shows PV solar is growing in the US and Canada

pv map pvinsiderUtility-scale PV is growing, according to a map put together by PV Insider. Figures show the PV project pipeline in North America has exceeded 16. 6GW, and overall capacity is set to grow more than 50 times by 2016.  The map details the size and location of plants that are currently operating, under construction or planned. Additionally, the map lists the utilities that have agreed to purchase energy from plants that are yet completed, outlining the PPA contracts in place for future utility scale projects.
