Rehm’s successful RDS Drying systems increase yield and efficiency for solar manufacturers through advanced process features such as a sophisticated Thermal Oxidiser.

A manufacturer of thermal solutions for the metalization line offers a system with an integrated dryer, which the company says significantly improves metallization performance due to its low energy consumption and compact footprint.

Rehm’s RFS-D Fast-Fire System and other metalization solutions will be coming to the SNEC 2011 show from February 22 to 24. The 5th International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference and Exhibition is being held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), in China. Company employees will be present to explain about Rehm’s technologies and how they can boost PV performance to increase cell yield and efficiency.

The SNEC provides an opportunity for those operating in the solar industry to see metalization solutions in one place. Rehm’s drying and firing systems will showcase a host of design features that allow high throughput rates to maximize productivity, a residue management system that extends maintenance intervals, separate heating and cooling zone transports, which improve the cooling gradient and shorten the necessary cooling zone length. Also incorporated in these systems is gas management that improves thermal transfer efficiency.
